DO NOT LET THIS AMERICA PASS INTO HISTORY

I just walked outside my front door with my neighbors and watched the final launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis - the 32nd such launch of this particular space craft. I watched the last launch – Discovery – live from Cocoa Beach – and I find it almost impossible to believe that we are witnessing the end of American manned space flight.

To say we have lost our way would be an understatement in the extreme. It is way more than that.

We have apparently completely forgotten who we are and who we are supposed to be.

Please listen to today’s podcast as we all feel our hearts swell with pride at American innovation, invention and spirit of adventure. I hope we are not witnessing such things passing into history.
