Step into my time machine as we take an-ever-so-short trip to the near future. You see the United Kingdom is about to have a General Election and there are two socialist parties trying to win it. There are the socialists (the Labor Party) who have been in power for the last 13 years and then there are the socialists who call themselves the Conservative Party. Not since Margaret Thatcher has that party – which is expected to win by the way – been even close to a Conservative Party.
Now seems like the perfect opportunity to see what socialists will do with extended periods of power – and it’s very interesting because our current Administration is trying to get to the same place oh so much faster than 13 years.
To sum it up education, immigration, health and defense are all serious issues in the coming ballot. I’ll be saving the worst economy and budget deficit since World War Two for a subsequent podcast. If that all sounds familiar add to it a leader who looks his people in the eye and lies to their faces and you will understand that we are so close to following them it is truly frightening.
