UN CLIMATE CLAIMS BASED ON MAGAZINE ARTICLE!

When Osama Bin Laden announced on Friday that he was essentially swapping Al Qaeda for Al Gore with his latest rant being on Global Warming (despite the pure evil of this man, it is hard not to find that funny!), it would seem that the world (and specifically the US Government) is willing to continue to accept the now disgraced UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's outrageous claims on the "changing planet".

Not only do we know that laws were broken with regards to the destruction of raw data; not only do we know via thousands of e-mails and 72 actual documents that the so-called scientists were having repeated discussions on how to manipulate date specifically to get rid of a warming period in the Middle Ages, but now we find out that the claims regarding the Himalayas were based solely on one student's dissertation and a magazine article!

It will not come as a shock that the Swiss geography student based his dissertation on chats he'd had with mountain guides in the Alps and that the magazine article was anchored in casual observations by its readers!

None of that stopped the IPCC from claiming that ALL the ice would disappear from the world's mountain tops by 2035 as a result of Global Warming! It even went so far as to say that two papers were the source of the information. Now you have to understand that when this panel cites "sources" it is claiming scientific studies!

This revelation by the UK's Sunday Telegraph newspaper, comes hot on the heels of the apology the IPCC issued earlier this month over a claim it had made that the glaciers on the Himalayas were melting! They are not!

Even some of the scientists who still hang on by their fingertips to the notion that we humans are causing the planet to heat up, are embarrassed. The Telegraph spoke to one of them:

Professor Richard Tol, one of the report's authors who is based at the Economic and Social Research Institute in Dublin, Ireland, said: "These are essentially a collection of anecdotes.

"Why did they do this? It is quite astounding. Although there have probably been no policy decisions made on the basis of this, it is illustrative of how sloppy Working Group Two (the panel of experts within the IPCC responsible for drawing up this section of the report) has been.

"There is no way current climbers and mountain guides can give anecdotal evidence back to the 1900s, so what they claim is complete nonsense."

But it is important to understand that when the IPCC issues a report every six years, Governments around the world DO INDEED base their policies on it. Cap and Trade (which hopefully is now dead in the water here) is a direct result of the report issued in 2007.

So now we know that Billions of Dollars in taxes and changes in the United States are based on casual conversations between a university student and mountain guides and reader submissions to a magazine!

Very much like Bin Laden and his views on Global Warming (I'm waiting for him to let us know whether he thinks the Big Mac or the Whopper is the better burger!) - this is funny. BUT the seriousness of the consequences should not be underestimated. Perhaps the worst part of this is that our President and Congress continue to talk about the need for us to act now. The UN Secretary General said before the climate conference in Copenhagen that we had - and I'm quoting him directly now - "FOUR MONTHS TO SAVE THE PLANET" (the caps were mine!).

With so much going on it is easy for us to ignore things like this. But we must all understand that if our Government makes law or issues Executive Orders then it is our children and grand children and even their children who will pay the price. They will look back at this time and be embarrassed that their ancestors allowed the "flat earthers" to hijack the world.

We are the guardians of their future, but we MUST be good guards. Don't let them get away with it. Ask questions! Demand answers from your elected representatives. And right here in Florida, don't let them bring in a train we don't want or need on the back of saving the planet.

COACH ACCUSED OF CHILD MOLESTATION

It is certainly true that this is not the usual type of thing I blog about, but there are some details that are coming to light here that if true, are almost as shocking as the alleged molestation itself.

So let's deal with the accusation first. The picture (a link from Orlandosentinel.com) is of German Delatorre, 46, who was arrested earlier this week accused of sexual battery on a teenage boy. As I write this, he is being held at the Orange County Jail facing several charges including sexual battery to a child, lewd/lascivious molestation, lewd/lascivious conduct and a pornography charge, according to the Sentinel.

Police reports indicate that the child informed his father on Tuesday of this week about the alleged sexual battery and the Sentinel is reporting that Delatorre has admitted showing the teenager pornography but claimed that the molestation was "accidental".

Delatorre was a former youth soccer coach and met the child five years ago when he became his coach.

Now we are all outraged that yet another story like this has come to light. We are all disgusted. We all want to make sure this alleged dirt bag never sees freedom again and some of us want to do him physical harm. As a dad I am yet again convinced that I would be doing jail time if this was my kid and I knew the alleged attacker.

As a high school tennis coach I am horrified that the position of trust this "coach" held was abused in this way. Are there more victims out there? Who knows, but none of us would be shocked if there were. If you have ever coached at high school or youth level then you know you build a relationship of trust both with the kids in your care and their parents.

But the story continues and really it is this part of it that I want to deal with. You see over the five years that this has been going on, police reports indicate that the boy spent "weeks at a time" at Delatorre's home. They further inform us that as recently as December, the victim went on a cruise with him.

I have no idea how the alleged actions of this coach continued for so long. And the fact that the parents allowed their child to spend so much one on one time with him is incomprehensible for me. The fact that the parents allowed that closeness to develop over five years leads to just one question. . .

What the hell were they thinking?

You might think me cruel to even bring this up at a time that I'm sure is extremely difficult for them, but how on earth do you allow your teen boy go on a cruise with a grown man? How do you let him stay for "weeks at a time" at his house? How does this not strike you at best as "strange"?

The lesson to me is simple. As parents we are the best protectors of our own children. But we must be vigilant. We must watch. We must recognize "strange" when we see it. And perhaps most importantly of all, we must constantly question and educate our kids.

Finally from me - if this alleged scumbag turns out to be no longer alleged, then we must NEVER let him out. He does not deserve to live in our society. Oh and let's not waste any money while he is in jail on his "rehabilitation". We try him and if we find him guilty then we lock him up and throw away the damn key. And my last word goes to prosecutors. Do not EVER plea bargain with child molesters. NEVER.

WHY I WON'T BE WATCHING THE STATE OF THE UNION

The thing about writing blogs (at least for me) is that you don't always know where they are going to take you. I will get to why I won't be watching the State of the Union t0night in a moment, but I knew I wanted a picture of our glorious leader and so I went to whitehouse.gov to get one. I found this - and the reason I am starting here is the name of the picture - it's "hero". Yes - the url (the picture is a link) ends with the word "hero" - simply amazing!!

So - I won't be watching our hero tonight because frankly I am sick of all of them. I'm sure you all know how to tell if a politician is lying - yes indeed, his/her lips are moving! I am simply sick to death of the whole thing.

When the GOP had control of Congress what did they do? Well they went ahead and spent our money. Lots of it. They didn't secure our borders and they didn't cut taxes enough when it was clear the economy was headed for trouble.

Now we have the Dems in power, well spending is so totally out of control that we are literally printing money and monetizing our own debt to pay for it. Economics at its most basic will tell anyone with two brain cells that this is totally unsustainable. The current debt is a staggering $12.3 TRILLION!

So tonight the President will try to "reconnect" with the middle class. He will tell us that healthcare is still going to happen, but in a way that the people will love. He will tell us of all his great achievements and it wouldn't surprise me one little bit if some Democrat shouts out "You're being economical with the truth" - because of course it is no longer permissible to shout "lies" even when the President is lying!

He will say he is going to freeze spending for the duration of his presidency - something that when George Bush proposed he was accused of being "draconian". Obama will be praised as being innovative. But hang on a minute here. The freeze on spending doesn't mean we are not going to spend any more money. It means we are going to spend THE SAME amount of money is each of his remaining three years. And this from a President who has spent more than the rest of them combined.

There will be timed applause; fake hand shakes, "shout outs" and the obligatory introduction of a REAL hero or two. I simply cannot take it anymore. The lies; the hypocrisy; the spin afterwards; the journalists who simply refuse to do their jobs.

The country belongs to the people.

Many are trying to spin Scott Brown's "Mass-acre" of the Dems in Teddy Kennedy's old seat as a backlash on not getting health care done fast enough. Are we THAT stupid or do they just have so much contempt for us that they THINK we are that stupid?

So tonight I'll watch a couple of things I have on DVR and do some work. I'll talk to some friends on the phone and think about reading tomorrow what I did not see later tonight. If you are watching, then good luck to you. Why don't you e-mail me and tell me I'm wrong.

THIS IS WHAT WE DO... WE'RE AMERICANS!

I came across something today that was released just before Thanksgiving. It is of Lt. Col. Oliver North giving a speech to the NRA. It is perhaps one of the most moving tributes to our brave men and women in harms' way that I have ever seen.

I am grateful to one of my listeners on 540 WFLA who - like many others - continues to exchange e-mail with me or to follow me on Facebook. For it is she who sent me this link this morning. She is not looking for praise. She does not wish me to name her. She merely wrote: "This is what we do... we're Americans."

It is interesting because it was an e- mail that she forwarded to me. And on the first forwaders (hopefully that's a word!) had this to say:

"This is a great video, have plenty of Kleenex on hand. This is one of the most moving and enlightening speeches that I have ever seen, give by one our own great Americans, Lt. Col. Oliver North. For those of you who lean a little left, watch the video and then do as you wish with it.

Sincerely,

Don Wiley
Former Marine Fighter Pilot

He is not joking. It is indeed one of the most moving speeches about our heroes that I have ever seen. Turn off all distractions while you watch it.

UNITED STATES MARINES END IRAQ ROLE

Today the United States Marines ended its role in Iraq. This marks the end of this particular mission which included years of exemplary service to our nation; to the people of Iraq who did not know what "freedom" meant until they met the Marines and of course, to us.

The Marines handed over their role to the US Army today in a ceremony at Ramadi where some of the worst fighting took place. Ramadi will forever be remembered by me because of what it means to a man - a true national hero - who became my friend over the last few years. He is Master Sergeant of Marines, William "Spanky" Gibson.

In early 2006, Spanky was on foot patrol in Ramadi when a sniper took out his knee. That ultimately cost Spanky his leg and he later became the first ever member of any branch of our military to return to a combat zone having had an above the knee amputation. You can see Spanky at the top of this blog saluting the Stars and Stripes. You can also see he has one leg.

And I can never talk about Spanky without talking about another hero. My friend is alive today because of cover fire provided by a Navy Seal - Michael Monsoor. Just six months later, Monsoor was dead in an act of bravery and heroism that few of us mere mortals can comprehend. The following is an excerpt from NavySeals.com and is the report of the death of Monsoor who was just 25 years old.

“A couple of hours later, an insurgency fighter closed on the overwatch position and threw a fragment grenade into the overwatch position which hit Monsoor in the chest before falling in front of him. Monsoor yelled, “Grenade!” and dropped on top of the grenade prior to it exploding. Monsoor’s body shielded the others from the brunt of the fragmentation blast and two other SEALs were only wounded by the remaining blast.”

“One of the key aspects of this incident was the way the overwatch position was structured. There was only one access point for entry or exit and Monsoor was the only one who could have saved himself from harm. Instead, knowing what the outcome would be, he fell on the grenade to save the others from harm. Monsoor and the two injured were evacuated to the combat outpost battalion aid station where Monsoor died approximately 30 minutes after the incident from injuries sustained by the grenade blast.”

So you see Ramadi is quite significant. There is a lot I could tell you about my friend Spanky. I could tell you about his recovery. I could tell you that he swam the Escape from Alcatraz race. Or his plans to solo swim the English Channel. But what I really want to tell you about is how Spanky chose to honor me.

You see I first heard about him around two years ago. And I arranged for him to be my guest on my weekend radio show. It was after that appearance which was live from Camp Fallujah in Iraq that he became my friend. And just before he returned home, he asked me for my address - "I want to send you something".

Without hesitation I of course gave him my address. And about three weeks later a box arrived through the mail. I opened it and to say I was floored would be an understatement. You see Spanky had sent me the flag you see him saluting in the picture at the top. And along with the flag came the certificate underneath it. I STILL simply cannot believe this national hero chose to honor me in this way. Every single day he risks his life for OUR FREEDOM and the freedom of the Iraqi people. Every day. And he chose to honor me. All I have done is run my mouth.

I wrote about it at the time and Spanky wrote a comment on that blog back then. I said that he understands his mission way better than any of his detractors. Just read these words.

"Its a sincere honor to serve each of you and our great country. I joined the Marine Corps 19 years ago with no other desire than to serve. I always accept the responsibilities of the job so, my injury does not cause me regret or hatred. I still have a life as a Marine and a long life to enjoy and I will live it to the fullest. I have the support of so many of you and my beautiful family. Please know that all we sacrifice here is for a higher good and we do not regret the multiple deployments to get the job done. Most of us realize when we join that life in the Corps could be a long battle. We swear on an oath to support and defend. We protect all those who can not protect themselves and provide them opportunities that might otherwise be impossible. And we do it for a thank you! We do not care of the books and journals which might hold our name. We only care of the Marine Corps tradition and not failing it or you in anyway. As you honor me and my fellow service members we also honor you. So, I say "Thank You" and "Its my honor", because this is the life I chose to live. I love each and everyday of it. I often allow my injury to guide me closer to the media to voice some opinion of what truly happens here in Iraq. Its interesting how falsehoods can outweigh truth so easily in the public eye and I vow to do my part in getting the truth up front. Semper Fidelis"

Those words still bring chills to me. I did make Spanky a promise however. I told him that I would box frame the flag and the certificate and it would be on a stand and the very first thing anyone would see when entering my home. I have kept that promise. If my house was ever to burn down, once I had made sure my kids and dog were out safely, this is the one thing I would try and save. It is my family's most prized possession and I will always be grateful to my friend for honoring me.

So as you think of the Marines leaving Iraq today, think of men and women like Spanky. Think of the sacrifices they have made so that you and I can live in freedom and argue over whether or not we should even be there. And perhaps think of the words on the certificate above. Not the ones about me, but the ones about the people of Iraq.

Semper Fidelis

SAY IT LOUD AND SAY IT PROUD. THE ELITE THINKS YOU'RE STUPID!

Yes folks. The Elite simply don't think you are smart enough to understand.

It is actually funny when you realize just how upside down that is. The lesson they are apparently taking home from what took place in Massachusetts on Tuesday night is not that they are out of touch. It's not that they are spending WAY too much money. It's not that they are taxing too heavily. It's not that they are attacking the creators of wealth.

No. It's none of that. The problem is you and me. We are dumb.

Now before my socialistic friends jump all over me, this is not me trying to read between the lines. Not a bit of it. These are ACTUAL WORDS from one of the self-proclaimed elite who is of course way better, more important and of course smarter than you and me.

Have I teased you enough? You sure?

You see today "Di-Fi" - which is how I refer to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif), called time of death on two key components of the elite's agenda - health care and global warming which she still insists on calling "climate-change". SIDE BAR. The Climate has ALWAYS changed dummy! Have someone give you some ice core readings over the last five thousand years!

Anyway, Di-Fi had this to say about YOU, you stupid dumb idiot (my words): "I think we do go slow on health care. People do not understand it. It is so big it's beyond their comprehension. And if you don't understand it and somebody tells you it does this or it does that, you tend to believe it, even though it isn't true. It's hard to debunk all of the myths out there."

Let me give you that again:

"People do not understand it. It is so big it's beyond their comprehension."

You got it now? You don't like health care because you are too dumb to comprehend it!

Hopefully Di-Fi will be able to comprehend the pink slip we are about to deliver to her and her elitist buddies in DC.

THE OBAMA EFFECT HEADS TO NEVADA!

Something very interesting is going on with regards to the President. It would seem that very much like "The Gore Effect" which produces record cold temperatures when the former Vice-President plans to speak at a Global Warming event (you can Google it if you don't believe me), "The Obama Effect" seems almost guaranteed to make Democrats lose seats.

While he was still believing his own press, the President made trips to New Jersey and Virginia to help the Dems "win" those safe Governorships. Well that didn't work out too well now did it?

Next he went to Mass where he delivered an excellent (really - it was) speech in support of Coakley, health care and Ted Kennedy. We all saw what happened to that on Tuesday night.

Now today comes word that the President is heading to Nevada to stump for his Senate buddy, Harry Reid. You remember Harry, right?

He was the one who said of Candidate Obama that he could be successful because he had a light skin and didn't speak with a negro dialect unless he wanted to. Yeah - THAT guy!

Anyway, it would seem that Harry is in trouble when it comes to re-election to the United States Senate (something about not listening to the people has lead to a 30 point poll deficit, but Harry likes deficits. Well he likes the American people to have them for sure).

So the solution? Bring in the President. And Harry - I hope it is just as successful for you as it was for the others (some data is suggesting that the size of each swing was -3% AFTER the President had stumped).

As for you Mr President - if there's anything I can do to help you get to all these tight races, then please let me know.

WILL THEY STEAL THE SEAT FROM SCOTT BROWN?

This is one of the most powerful videos I've seen in a long time. America has been rising and it will really start tonight if the socialists don't find a way to stuff ballot boxes and steal the election from Scott Brown. One poll has him nine points up this morning!

If Brown manages to gain Teddy Kennedy's old seat, the message it will send to DC will be incredibly powerful. Frankly it doesn't matter with regards to healthcare as has been said over and over, because I simply think they will find a way NOT to seat him before a vote.

But what it WILL do is send a loud and unmistakable message to the Dems in DC that this is OUR country and not theirs. We The People get to decide who stays in power and who does not. Hopefully it will get them to listen more and speak less. We have two ears and one mouth for a reason!

CONTINUE TO STAND UP AMERICA!

WHO ARE WE BECOMING?

This is my daughter's car. Like all decent parents, I think I have a good kid. Unlike some, I have the evidence to back that up. She's in college; in the honors program there; made straight A's in her first semester; was a sophomore by the end of that first semester; received a couple of academic scholarships and most important of all, doesn't give me too many sleepless nights.

This weekend she came back from college to take part in the tennis fundraising tournament I had organized for her high school. After that was over she was to spend the evening with a friend who was celebrating her birthday.

My daughter did indeed do that and then left the gathering only to receive a very late call from her friend that the boyfriend was getting violent. My daughter went back to her friend's house to protect her. What you see above is what she woke up to on Sunday morning.

This took place in a nice quiet, gated community in the Orlando area. This is who we've become. Have I received a phone call from the other parent? No. Has the kid that almost certainly did this stood up and taken responsibility? No. Has he even said "I didn't do it but I know who did and it will not cost you anything"? No again. Has he even said sorry to my daughter that it happened at all? Again, NO.

Do I blame him? Not really. This always comes from the parents. I know who my kid is. I know what she's capable of even at 19 years old and I know I wouldn't allow some other parent to become a financial victim of some stupidity that she may have done while not thinking.

But that's not who we are anymore... apparently. Personal responsibility is not something anyone even knows about.

DISGUSTING!

AMERICANS HELPING AMERICANS

I did think a while before deciding to put any politics into what I'm about to say, but I simply can't get the thought out of my head. You see we don't need Government to sort out our lives. We don't need their hand outs (our money of course); we don't need them MAKING us buy something we choose not to buy; we most certainly don't need Government running our Doctors and hospitals. We also don't need Government when it comes to good acts.

We The People understand our responsibilities to our fellow Americans and also to the people of the world. We The People most certainly should NOT send Haiti donations to the White House when there are many wonderful organisations who do a fantastic job in responding to disasters. That was the point Rush was making last week, but of course he was castigated for it - by some unlikely people as well as the usual suspects.

Anyway, the point of all this is that I have had a wonderful day today and I wanted to share some of it with you. Next week I will start my fifth year coaching High School Tennis. I am the non faculty Head Coach of the Dr Phillips High School Tennis Program (the picture above is of my 2009 team) and on Tuesday we begin our pre-season conditioning.

But today we did something else. Something new. Something that once again proved to me that We The People understand our responsibility to help our fellow Americans.

Today I held the first DP Open Challenge - a pre-season fundraising tournament which raised a tremendous amount of money despite the economy and the demands on everyone's finances.

Not only did some of my returning players and prospective 2010 players turn up, but also Alumni and adults with literally no connection to the program. We raised three times as much as the obligatory car wash and we had a lot of fun doing it. It also energized me and some of those players for the season to come.

THANK YOU to all who attended; to all who took part; to all who donated (including some from these pages) and to the local businesses who dug deep to provide prizes for our winning adults.

Great things are in store for DP Tennis this year I feel....

GO PANTHERS!

Mass. to delay seating new Senator - SHOCKED!

OK - so not actually shocked at all! The thing is that it now looks extremely possible that Mass will elect a Republican Senator next week. That would remove the 60 seats that the Dems hold in the Senate and therefore the filibuster proof majority. So the response was expected, but these people are now so blatant in their corruption and in their holding on to power despite the expressed will of the people, that I am not remotely shocked. The following from Glen Johnson at Breitbart.

"Secretary of State William F Galvin, citing state law, says city and town clerks must wait at least 10 days for absentee ballots to arrive before they certify the results of the Jan. 19 election. They then have five more days to file the returns with his office."

Seems clear enough doesn't it. Until that is you look at what happened in 2007 when the SAME OFFICIAL ignored the provision he just talked about so that his State could gain the required extra House seat to override a Veto by President George W. Bush.

I could rant and rave. I could point out the obvious. But you know the biggest problem here is not the corruption or the fact that these people have literally no shame. No, the biggest problem is the media will give them a pass. Obama will get some kind of healthcare bill which will obviously open the floodgates to the single payer system some time down the road ("it may take ten or 15 years" the President told us) and the fact that the PEOPLE - yes that's YOU AND ME - will forget and move on to something else.

It is hard to keep fighting the good fight when so many just ignore what's going on.

STAND UP AMERICA. . .

...before they take what's left of our country from us.

WORLD WAR TWO HEROINE DIES AT 100

Her name was Miep Gies and she lived in Amsterdam. She was an office secretary and she not only defied the Nazis in occupied Holland during the war, but she saved a document that the world would be much poorer without.

She was the woman who helped hide Anne Frank and her family for 25 months and in a way, more importantly, she gathered up all of Anne's papers and documents and hid them in a locked drawer waiting for Anne to return from the Concentration Camps after the war.

This incredible woman, who always refused to accept accolades for what she did in the war, died yesterday at 100 years old following a neck injury caused by a fall at her home just before Christmas.

She was the last non Jew to help Anne, her sister and her parents as well as four others who were all hiding in a secret room behind the canal front warehouse. If you ever get the chance, go and visit that house. It is a very moving and emotional experience.

After the home was raided by the Nazis and Frank and her family were taken to the death camps, Gies locked up Anne's papers and most importantly, never read them because she believed the teenager was entitled to her privacy. To understand the significance of that, you have to know that if she HAD read the diary, she would have destroyed it because all the helpers were identified.

Anne Frank's diary was given to her for her 13th birthday and details her life between June 12, 1942 and August 1, 1944. Frank died in Bergen-Belsen in March 1945, just 14 days before that camp was liberated.

Gies gave the documents to the only survivor of the Frank family, Anne's father Otto, who published the Diary of Anne Frank in 1947. If you've never read it, then you have no understanding of the history of that period. Go and correct that TODAY.

Gies was honored by so many, including Israel's Holocaust Museum Yad Vashem, as well as the German Government and the Dutch Monarchy. But she always pushed away the praise, saying that she merely carried out her human duty.

"This is very unfair. So many others have done the same or even far more dangerous work," she wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press days before her 100th birthday last February.

The world lost one of its best yesterday. We can be comforted in the knowledge that Anne will be able to personally thank her for all she did now.

GOOGLE MORE ADVANCED THAN US INTELLIGENCE

The ALLEGED bomber of Northwest 253 pleaded not guilty in a US Criminal Court yesterday through his lawyers as he is facing six charges that could lead to life in prison.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab did speak to confirm his name (more on that whole pesky "name" thing in a moment) and the fact that he is 23.

So civilised!

Lawyers in suits; the ALLEGED terrorist in a nice pair of beige pants and yet somehow we managed to mess this up. How could anyone think it was a good idea to charge him as a criminal? To give him the same process as a shoplifter? How could anyone think he would not qualify as "enemy combatant" and take him for military interrogation? How is Janet Nepolitano still in work? I really do feel we have fallen through the looking glass sometimes.

Meanwhile eight pages of the Presidents report on the "incident" have been declassified and if you read through it you will discover that Google apparently has better technology than US Intelligence. Look at this!

Mr. Abdulmutallab possessed a U.S. visa, but this fact was not correlated with the concerns of Mr. Abdulmutallab’s father about Mr. Abdulmutallab’s potential radicalization. A misspelling of Mr. Abdulmutallab’s name initially resulted in the State Department believing he did not have a valid U.S. visa.
First of all, I simply LOVE how we call him "Mr Abdulmutallab". I can't wait to read the one than speaks of "Mr Bin Laden"...

BUT...

REALLY?

We don't have anything in US Intelligence that is equivalent to Google's "Did You Mean?" Ap which picks up typos and bad spellings of words and suggests the correct ones?

AGAIN...

REALLY?

And how comforting is it that we just told the enemy about this lack of technology! Don't you just love that?

Meanwhile if you read that piece from the report again, you will realize that had the State Department or whoever had that Google tool, then they would have realized that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab did in fact have a valid US Visa and therefore could have come here perfectly legitimately which is exactly what he did. Once they tied that up with the intelligence we received from HIS DAD, then perhaps we might of actually stopped him getting on the plane.

I'm sure you're resting much easier now.

I WAS WRONG ABOUT PRESIDENT OBAMA!

Yes folks - I'm a convert! President Obama is apparently the greatest President in American history! In less than 12 months since he took office, the President has been dealing with a lot.

First of all there was all that stuff he had to deal with that was left to him by "the other guy". But not to worry - he has that sorted out now. The economy is booming (I've been reading the left wing blogs this morning) and healthcare has magically appeared in the Constitution without an Amendment or even an Executive Order. If you believe one of the Senators, it is now an "inalienable right for every American" How cool is that?

But my conversion really has nothing to do with any of that. You see in under a year, the President has apparently solved Global Warming. I could re-print the stories below, but I thought the links would suffice. (By the way - Orlando will be in the mid-20s tomorrow morning!)

ENJOY AND STAY WARM!

ISRAELI JETS BOMB GAZA TERROR TUNNELS

It was around a year ago that Israel invaded Gaza after months of provocation from the Jihadists of Hamas which had been firing rockets into Israeli towns and cities on a daily basis. The point of the attack was to push those launchers back from the border between Israel and Gaza. It was largely successful and despite international criticism from the anti-semetic socialists and communists around the world, Israel quite rightly stayed on task and increased the security of its people.

I remember at the time asking what those on the loony left who criticised Israel thought the United States would have done if rockets had fallen on our northern towns and cities for just two days and the response was an overwhelming "we'd of bombed the crap out of Canada".

Israel is used to receiving such verbal and written attacks when it defends its people and the answer is simple for the Governments of Gaza, Syria, Lebanon and anyone else. Israel will not attack you if you do not attack her. But if you do enough, then Israel will come after you and will destroy you. Kinda sounds like how the United States is SUPPOSED to sound.

The operation of a year ago was largely successful and although there are still rocket and mortar attacks from inside Gaza into Israel, they are sporadic.

But Israel is also pro-active.

LISTEN UP UNITED STATES!

Yesterday Israeli jets attacked and destroyed two tunnels leading from Gaza into Israel which the air force says were going to be used by Islamic Jihadists to enter Israel and to carry out terror strikes. This coming just a few days after a march in Gaza demanding that Israel open its border with the Hamas controlled area so that the people of the area could enter Israel to work and buy stuff. It is almost comical. It would be like having a march here demanding that we open our borders so that members of Al Qieda could come in and go to Macys and Burger King.

In Egypt, the Government also recognizes just how dangerous these people are and in fact the authorities there shut down the march that was to happen on the streets of Cairo. If that isn't enough for you then, the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank also cancelled a march that was supposed to take place.

I can tell you this. For REAL peace (you know, normal relations between nations), Israel would give up just about anything in terms of land. A solution for Jerusalem will need to be found, but that aside you are talking about a nation and a people that want nothing more than to live in peace. Israel accepted the original crazy UN proposal the split the country in 1948. The arabs didn't and invaded. Israel won! Israel was invaded on three sides in 1967 and won again. On the holiest day of the jewish year, Israel was invaded once more in 1973 and although that looked bleak for a while, Israel won again.

She will defend her people in the way the United States is supposed to defend us. But she will make real peace if she has a real partner to make peace with.

The problem is you have people who are not only willing to put kids in the front line, but delight in doing so. Who are willing to place rocket launchers in school yards and hospital parking lots. Who are willing to decapitate anyone who isn't a muslim and who want to see the complete destruction of the State of Israel and every Jew pushed into the sea.

My words? NO! It's in THEIR charter. And so until that changes, Israel will continue to do what she needs to do to defend her people and she could care less what the rest of the world thinks.

QUITE RIGHT!
