PODCAST: BYRD IS DEAD. I’M NOT SHEDDING TEARS FOR A RACIST

So at 92 years old and 58 years after he first entered the United States Congress, Robert Byrd is finally dead.This former member of the Ku Klux Klan is apparently being deeply missed already. Well not by me.

The length of time he spent in Congress is part of the problem and certainly not something to be admired – especially as Byrd continued with his racist outpourings long after he left the Klan.

PODCAST: IS CRIST NOW PRO-CHOICE OR JUST PRO-POWER?

As Florida Governor Charlie Crist Removes the Pro-Life Section of his Campaign Web Site, many are asking if he is finally showing his true left wing credentials. I don’t think so. I don’t think the Governor is left or right; RINO or Reaganite. Crist is simply about power and all that brings to him in terms of his own ego and prestige.

The Governor will certainly use the VETO pen again this week to get rid of a Florida law which would make it mandatory for pregnant women to get an ultra sound in the first trimester, before they would be allowed an abortion. This too is about power.
